Intern Testimonials

“Being an intern with BBBS has been an absolutely wonderful experience! When I first started, I felt welcomed by every staff member in the building and learned that the office atmosphere is one that makes coming to work a pleasant feeling. With interning here, I got a well-rounded experience since I was able to help out with different departments within the agency which will benefit me in my future career. I fully believe in the mission of BBBS and was grateful to be a part of it and see the difference it can make in the lives of children.”   – Emily, 2020/2021 intern

“I loved interning with Big Brothers Big Sisters. In the few months I worked there, I learned a lot of valuable skills that I was able to use in future work experiences I have had. On top of it, everyone in the office was inclusive and friendly, making me really enjoy going into the office every day.”   – Anjali, 2019 Intern

“This was my first real experience that wasn’t reading about helping kids from a textbook. I appreciated all the support and guidance that everyone gave me, as well as the friendships I formed here. Thank you to everyone that has made interning here so much fun and enjoyable – this year flew by!”     – Kyle, 2018 Intern
